Essay about if I were in a million miller

Whichever approach one selects when writing the introduction of the essay about if I were a in a million miller, one should always remember that the introduction is the first statement that the examiner will read of the essay.

This may be a rather obvious statement, but many students do not still treat the introduction paragraph with the seriousness it deserves by either stating too much or too little in this paragraph.

A good introduction is one that lucidly sets out one’s response to the topic and how one is going to present that response. Many tutors and professional writers agree that any citations of quotations should be omitted from the introduction paragraph because one is expected, in the introduction paragraph, to give personal response and not that of others.

Also, one should always remember to keep the introduction paragraph short and to the point and end it with a thesis statement that will create some sort of opening into what is to be discussed and explored in the rest of the essay. The main body of the essay is usually the part of the essay that contains the most details and as such this part is made up of several paragraphs.

Each paragraph of the main body should not contain more than one idea and each of the ideas that make up a paragraph should represent a separate aspect which should be related to the main idea of the essay, also known as the thesis of the essay. Basically, one should treat the main idea in each paragraph as a subtopic of the main topic of the essay.
