Racism Between the Lines
In the book Sheppard lee, Robert Montgomery raspberry depicts the wondrous tale of a man who transfers his ghost through with(predicate) the bodies of several people, rich and poor, on a journey which in conclusion brings him back to his own body. This book is filled with characters that are stand out in their undesired conditions because they refuse to do the necessary step to become free and live a happy life. But for one(a) of the characters in the book, Bird steps out of the norm of humorous story when the tale of Sheppard Lee becomes serious and dramatic. Instead of displaying a character who is bound by disease, debt or hatred from others, Sheppard Lee is placed in the body of a slave and is convoluted in and somewhat responsible for a slave uprising, resulting in the deaths of many. Most people who read this slit view it as the dark side of the book and dont experience the deeper meaning. What or so people dont consider is that this section shows a true depiction of Birds feelings toward dimmed people and slaveholding.
