The movie Simon birch accurately demonstrates the journeying process by showing the following three avenues of self; mad, spiritual, and social. Firstly I entrust prove that the emotional avenue was shown through the movie by how Simon dealt with his problems and the death of loved ones. Secondly I will prove that the spiritual avenue was shown by how Simon went to church either Sunday and believed that God had a plan for him and anyone else. And thirdly I will prove how the social avenue was shown by how Simon was top hat friends with Joe and how he had the ability to interact with younger children that were the same sizing as him.
The movie Simon Birch was emotional in more ways. The character Simon made it very emotional as he was diagnosed with a case of dwarfism from blood line, and at a birth Simon had a shortage of oxygen and a short hint which is why Simon was the size he was.
