1. What police maps be employ during arrests, and how do these procedures address people to feel confused, fearful, and dehumanized?
Normal police procedures were used in the experiment. The imitation police served warrants, arrested the suspects, fingerprinted the suspects, took their mug shots, and searched and seized them. The unusual procedure was the blindfolding and the stripping of their clothes. If I were subjected to the same treatment, I would give way felt up embarrassed and humiliated.

I would like to think that I would have been a just guard. But, I have been cognise to succumb to instincts of conformity. If other guards were treating the prison houseers badly--especially guards who I respected or liked--I would in all likelihood be more likely to follow their behavior than be the oddball. There are a number of social influences that can influence a persons behavior. However, deindivididuzation and groupthink also play a role.
The guards were completely in arraign of the prisoners, even when they rebelled.
