On April 16, 2007, thirty-three mint were killed on the campus of Virginia Tech. in what appears to be the deadliest barb rampage in American history, according to federal official law-enforcement officials. Many of the victims were students shot in a dorm and a classroom building. Some students were lie up against a besiege and shot. Others jumped out of windows to escape or crouched on floors to take cover. The killings occurred in devil separate attacks on the campus in Blacksburg, Va. The first shooting was at close to 7:15 A.M. Two people were shot and killed at a dorm. More than two and a half hours later, 31 others, including the gunman, were shot and killed across campus in a classroom building, where some of the doors had been chained. Victims were frame in diametrical locations around the building. When it was all over, even sidewalks were stained with blood. Among those dead was the gunman, whose body was found along with victims in Norris Hall. The gunman was a student named William Morva.



He had been looking for his girlfriend and at one of the locations he lined up some students and shot them all. Up until this massacre, the deadliest campus shooting in United States history was in 1966 at the University of Texas followed by the aquilege High attack in 1999. The Virginia Tech has more than 25,000 regular students on a campus that is spread over 2,600 acres. The students said that they didnt get notified of the first shooting on campus for more than two hours.
