Today our activity is My ABCs and Me and we lead hold in approximately 20 minutes to work with the children on eruditeness their ABCs. I give put a forecast of an apple on the board for the children to see. I will use the word Apple to introduce the sound of the letter, and fix the children repeat the word with me, focusing on the A sound. We will discuss any of the childrens names that begin with or have an A in it.

I will build up an apple around to each of the children and let them feel it and scent it. We will have the children find items in the classroom that have the A sound in them and then to finish up the activity, I will let th e children color a picture of the letter A f! or them to take home with them. I will make copies of the artwork for the walls in the classroom. I will in any case ask the children to work with their parents to find items in their house that has the A sound in them.
