Mafferima Jolly 6-28-2010 Mgt521 THE EVOLUTION: FROM BACHELORS TO MBA As I aim matured, I do come to realize that knowledge is the vehicle by which one achieves a goal. However, when I began college, I lacked the snap and determination I now have. I did not have any goals or aspirations, as I firmly believed at that point that I was in college to satisfy my parents. My junior year, my parents firm that they were no longer going to support my pursuit of a degree. Reality set in that if intended to finish what I had begun, without their support, I was going to have to change. I was going to have to become motivated, determined, and focused in order to complete my mission. The mission, I indeed completed. The day of my graduation, was one of the best days of my life. containing the tears in my mothers eyes make me realize that ones vision set forrader could be accomplished. By that day, I had undergone a complete metabolic process; I transformed from the aimless young girl of my first-year year to a driven young woman. I see now that I have not accomplished everything of which I am capable. My decision to pursue an MBA derived from my recognition that I am not living up to my potential. My life after graduation from college has not been what I expected.

The opportunities that I believed would flow from getting my unmarried mans did not present themselves. I have been chronically under-employed, often having my only source of income coming from employment with jury-rigged agencies. My under-employment led me to apply for public assistance because the money I made did not cover my basic living expenses. This domain stands in stark contrast to the picture painted by the Jungian personality test. The test saw me as driven and determined; qualities I already knew I possessed, but I was living like that aimless freshman.
